Trying to make up my mind;
Is like picking out a grain of sand.
I need God’s direction;
His will I need to understand.
English? Astronomy?
Nutrition, too?
Should I take all three,
Or just two?
My heart is in the right place;
My mind is saying “go for it!”
But my past is haunting me,
It’s saying I can’t do it.
Do I trust in the past;
And learn from my mistakes?
Or do I listen to my mind,
But my financial aid is at stake.
What to do..what to do…
Time is running out.
Do I drop one class now…
Or wait and find out?
